This is such an easy casual sushi place. It's definitely one of my favorites because of the great food and never a wait! My favorite rolls are the tuna crunch, peacock roll, and heavenly roll! The tuna tataki is great as well.

I got the Soft Spring Roll and the Black Dragon Roll. It came out fairly quickly and it was very fresh and very good!!

This is the worst Japanese food I've ever had. I've experienced everything from high-end hibachi grills, to mom-and-pop ramen places, to upscale sushi joints, to run of the mill suburban Japanese restaurants, to mall food courts and gas station sushi. This place was the absolute worst Japanese food I've ever experienced.
The first thing I noticed was that the restaurant was oddly warm. I didn't think too much of it, but it was just a random detail that stuck out. I ordered a salmon and sushi bento box for lunch that came with soup and salad. The salad was decent, but the miso soup tasted like dirty water. I couldn't even finish it, and I normally love miso, even when it's mediocre or a little watered down. I pushed it aside and waited for my bento box.
The salmon in the bento box was a dried out fish tail with pretty much no meat. It was excessively oily, even for salmon, and the meat was dried out. The tempura that came in the bento was totally flavorless. The vegetables all tasted alike and the only flavor I could pick up at all was the oil they'd been fried in. The crab stick sushi, shrimp sushi, and California roll were okay, but those are pretty hard to mess up. The other pieces of sushi that came with it (either snapper or yellowtail, couldn't tell for sure) was tough and had no flavor. There was also some sort of fried dumpling that was likewise flavorless and just plain odd. Never did figure out what the stuff inside it was supposed to be.
I barely ate any of my food. Told the waitress it was terrible, and she didn't even offer to take anything off the price. I probably should have pushed for a discount since I ate less than half my meal due to it being terrible, but I honestly just wanted to get out of there. Definitely avoid this place! Yuck! -

Always great sushi here. Karen keeps the place up to date with the latest sushi creations.
Tuna crunch roll and tuna tataki are some of my faves. My date is preferring the yellowtail sashimi. -

I got to Kobe with kids pretty regularly for dinner. We like that it is normally quiet and the food is always good. Portions are pretty good for the price. We love their bento box with sashimi. The tuna and salmon are top quality. The only downside is the service that might be slow and their tempura can be flavorless.
